The ancient book “About the Mystery of the Letters” is a little-known ancient Christian mystery about the relations between the letters of the Greek alphabet, Jesus Christ and the Creation. The book is dated to the second half of the sixth century and preserved in Greek and Coptic.
The author provides detailed explanations for each letter of the Greek alphabet, their true meaning and their relation to Jesus Christ. He basically provides an explanation for the famous quote in the Apocalypse of John: “I am the Alpha and the Omega” (Revelation 22:13).
